Prior to Thintronics, Stefan co-founded Connora Technologies (exited 2019), a materials innovation company that developed the world’s first commercially viable recyclable thermoset plastics. The technology is now used in manufacturing and helps divert 26 billion pounds of waste per year from landfills. He led the company from founding vision through financing, R&D, commercialization, and successful acquisition.
Engineering Leader with 14 years of experience in RF, mmW, THz, and Quantum Computing hardware design. Expertise in semiconductor co-design, manufacturing flows, Signal & Power Integrity, Antennas and Semiconductor Packaging across early-stage and large-scale industrial environments.
R&D innovator dedicated to translating breakthrough materials into real world applications. Adept at technology demonstrations, building supplier partnerships, and leading programs. Expertise in materials formulation, characterization, processing, and chemical engineering.
Desi Banatao
Chief Operating Officer, Board Member
Desi brings deep expertise in commercializing materials technologies, from semiconductors to high-performance polymers. He has led engineering and management teams at both start-ups and large enterprises, developing products for compute, high-speed communications, and fiber reinforced composites. He has guided numerous companies from founding through to liquidity events.
Will has extensive leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, most recently as VP of Global Sales & GM of Broadband at Maxlinear and VP of American Sales at SMSC, where he supported multiple acquisitions ahead of the company's sale to Microchip Technology. He oversees Thintronics' global strategy and growth initiatives as the company enters the market.
